Schriftsteller, geb. studierte auf dem
Eton College und auf der Edinburgher
Universität und nahm später verschiedene
staatliche Verwaltungsposten an. Er starb zu
Cannes. Seine Veröffentlichungen sind teils Beiträge zur
Volkskunde,
teils zur
Meteorologie und Geologie.
