Methyläthylcarbinol, (C2H5) (CH3)CHOH,
ein sekundärer, das
Trimethylcarbinol, (CH3)3COH, ein tertiärer
Alkohol. Am wichtigsten ist der
Isobutyl
alkohol oder Gärungsbutylalkohol
, der sich im
Fuselöl des Kartoffelweingeistes findet und eine unangenehm riechende
Flüssigkeit vom Siedepunkt 108° ist.
